26-year-old Swiss sprinter and Olympic athlete, Sarah Atcho, was diagnosed with pericarditis five days after receiving a Pfizer booster shot, the Covid world reported.
Sarah Atcho announced on her social media accounts on Monday that she was diagnosed with pericarditis (inflammation of the thin membrane surrounding the heart).
Atcho previously received the Moderna vaccine. She decided to take the Pfizer vaccine for her booster after she was told that it was safer than Moderna.
According to her post, she received her booster shot on December 22nd. Then on December 27th, she started to feel dizzy and felt tightness in the chest.
At the end of her post, Atcho admitted that she was upset and frustrated claiming that nobody is talking about the side effects of the COVID vaccines.
