In the 19th Century, the British used opium to subdue and colonize imperial China. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been getting even by engaging for years in chemical warfare against the current leader of the West, the United States, by importing, disseminating and otherwise facilitating consumption of a vastly more deadly drug: fentanyl. Last year, over 100,000 Americans were killed as a result of the CCP’s deliberate, ongoing and – despite official commitments to curb the practice – still expanding chemical warfare against our people.
Horrific as they are, the statistics of those murdered in this manner account for just a portion of the toll such attacks are inflicting on our country.
